Protection Features

LiFePO4 batteries come with built-in protection (BMS) that prevents:

  • Overcharging (above 29.2V)
  • Over-discharging (below 20.0V)
  • Damage from overheating

Charging and Discharging

  • Steady Power: One big advantage of LiFePO4 batteries is their flat voltage curve, this means the battery keeps a consistent voltage (24V to 26V) during most of its use so power remains steady.
  • Quick Drop at the End: When the battery charge gets below 20%the voltage drops quickly, which means it’s time to recharge.
