And we would like to tell you a little bit more technical details and our philosophy, what we kept in mind while designing it – our 12v 100ah lithium battery!
Durability and reliability of LiFePO4 batteries
Unser LiFePO4-Akku can serve you 3000-5000 charge-discharge cycles. It will not lose its capacity. This is significantly better than most of aftermarket competitors, or premium lead-acid batteries, which often do not withstand even 500 cycles. This quality comes from our expertise and years on the market, we produce batteries since 2002~!
The built-in battery management system (BMS is also produced by us, because we do everything in house) protects the LiFePO4-Akku from overcharging, overdischarging, and dangerous situations like short circuiting, and operating at too low or high temperatures. Our BMSs prevent damage.
Lightweight and compact
Unser 12 volt lithium battery is at least half the weight of lead-acid analogues of the same capacity, making it an ideal choice for portable applications (e.g. camping, boats, solar systems).

Where is 100 amp hour lithium ion battery used?

Let’s understand the design of this battery!
Das LiFePO4 battery 12.8v 100ah has special marking: 4S17P.
The “4S17P” marking means that this battery is made up of multiple cylindrical cells, not just one.
4S (4 Series)
The cells are connected in series in 4 groups to achieve 12,8 V. Each LiFePO4 cell has a nominal voltage of 3.2V, and 4 such cells in series give 12,8 V (4 x 3.2V).
17P (17 Parallel)
-Each group has 17 cells connected in parallel to give a total capacity of 100Ah. Each cell has a smaller capacity (usually 5.8-6Ah for 32700FE).
So this battery is made up of 68 cells (4 series x 17 parallel).
Why is it done this way?
– Connecting cells in series increases the overall voltage.
– Connecting in parallel adds capacity, since the capacities of all parallel connected cells are summed.
– Using many cells improves the thermal stability and longevity of the 12.8 volt battery.
Each cell in this configuration is a cylinder (e.g. 32700 form factor, meaning 32mm in diameter and 70mm in length). 4S17P is a standard and efficient way to build a high-power 32700FE battery.
And this battery – is it a lithium deep cycle battery, or what class does it belong to?
Well, we need to figure this out.
Das 100 Ah battery belongs to the lithium deep cycle class based on LiFePO4. Deep cycle support for long charge-discharge cycles is indicated. What is the difference between a lifep04 battery pack and a simple lifepo4 battery?
Why do we say “pack”?
A LiFePO4-Batteriezelle and a LiFePO4-Akku have their differences in their design and configuration.
LiFePO4 battery (cell)
- This is the basic element in which energy is accumulated. For example, a 18650 or 32700FE battery.
- Voltage of one cell is usually about 3.2 V – this is standard for LiFePO4-Batterien.
- And we may find that one cell is often not equipped with a management system (BMS).
- And a LiFePO4 cell is only suitable for small devices or as part of a battery pack.
12 volt LiFePO4 battery pack
And if we talk about “packs” we mean “several items of the same kind”. And a 12v LiFePO4 pack also consists of several cells. Those LiFePO4-Zellen can be connected in series (increasing voltage) or in parallel (increasing capacity).
For example, 4S17P means that the are 4 cells in each groups, and 17 groups are connected in parallel.
And another significant thing about 12 volt LiFePO4 packs is a Batteriemanagementsystem. BMS protects the pack from overcharging, short circuit, overheating and other hazards.
The cells in a pack are usually enclosed in a rugged case for safe use, it’s called Modular Design.
Used in electric vehicles, solar systems, boats, backup power supplies and other Complex Devices and applications.
For example, a pack can output 12.8 V Und 100 Ah, while a cell is usually not that strong.
Why it is called a “pack”:
The word “pack” indicates that this is a complex device, not just a single cell. It includes:Several cells connected together. BMS for protection and management of this 12 volt lithium battery. Sometimes additional modules, such as cooling systems or housings for installation. “Pack” means a ready-made solution for the consumer, capable of operating in devices without additional modifications.
